The Eating Establishment was opened in 1972 and holds
the honor of being the oldest continuously open restaurant
in Park City. Not an easy feat in a resort town that has
seen many restaurants come and go. We do it all here,
Breakfast, Lunch,
Dinner, wine, beer, liquor,
private parties and, if you have a special need, just
ask...we're flexible.
If you ask the local residents of Park City to describe
the restaurant, they would say it's an excellent value
with large portions, a friendly staff and an inviting
dining area with lots of sunlight and warm fires. The
Eating Establishment is a breakfast spot where you can
relax and enjoy a newspaper, a lunch spot where you can
rest while shopping on historic Main Street and a dinner
destination the whole family can enjoy after a full day
of skiing, golfing, hiking, biking or fishing in the beautiful
Wasatch Mountains that surround the town.
The local owners and staff have aimed for and achieved this reputation through hard work, honest food and passion for quality service. Our motto is "We're not good because we're old. On a side note, if you are unable to visit us at 317
Main Street, we operate a second restaurant, The
Eating Establishment Express, located at the base
of the Park City Mountain Resort where the same principles
of value and service hold true but in a fast paced-environment.
